NOTICE TO ALL PRIVATE ATTORNEYS
If a private attorney wants to appear by telephone for a hearing in front of Circuit Judge Steven J. Levin, it can be done as long as there are no objections by the other parties in the case. All hearings are currently being heard by “Zoom” (Covid instructions are on the website). Please check for updates as to whether your hearing is still being heard by Zoom as your hearing date approaches.
If the motioning attorney is unable to make a court appearance or wants to cancel any hearing, please file a notice of cancellation, cancel your hearing online and re-schedule your hearing, if you want, at another time that is convenient for all the parties.
Please notify all parties that your hearing has been cancelled. In addition, please email your notice of cancellation to firstname.lastname@example.org. All emails sent to email@example.com must be copied to all parties and that must be indicated in the email.
We cannot receive emails from pro se litigants as it would be considered ex parte communication and therefore the email will not be answered.
Proposed Orders can be emailed by private attorneys in word format to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include each parties email address on “copies furnished to”. When emailing to email@example.com, please include all parties on your email. Only agreed upon Orders should be submitted to Circuit Judge Steven J. Levin.
