On Wednesday, November 9, 2022, and Thursday, November 10, 2022, Hurricane Nicole caused the closure of the courts in Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, and St. Lucie Counties.
Due to this emergency Chief Justice Carlos G. Muñiz issued AOSC22-93 to extend all time limits prescribed or allowed by rule of procedure, court order, statutes applicable to court proceedings, or otherwise pertaining to court proceedings, from the close of business on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, until the close of business on Monday, November 14, 2022.
