Appellate Division

The Appellate Division hears appeals from county court (both criminal and civil) and code enforcement, as well as petitions for writ of certiorari from local administrative bodies when they hold quasi-judicial hearings, such as city and county commissions and the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. Appellate panels are held once a month in either St. Lucie, Indian River, or Martin Counties and rotate locations. The panels are comprised of three judges, and all of the judges in the Nineteenth Circuit proudly volunteer to serve on these panels.
